American Legion Post 52

Trouble with VA? Contact a service officer. The billing process at VA often breaks down, Congress learned last
fall. Veterans, regardless of American Legion membership, can turn to American Legion service officers for help
when they have questions or disputes about their health-care bills from VA. Use the American Legion Web site
to find a service officer near you. www.legion.org/departmentofficers

The following is an excellent site for state by state veterans benefits.

http://www.military.com/benefits/veteran-state-benefits/state-veterans-benefits-directory.html?ESRC=mrvr.nl

Below are web-sites that provide information on Veterans benefits and how to file/ask for them. Accordingly,
there are many sites that explain how to obtain books, military/medical records, information and how to appeal
a denied claim with the VA. Nearly 100% of this information is free and available for all veterans, the only
catch is, you have to ask for it, because they won't tell you about a specific benefit unless you ask for it. You
need to know what questions to ask so the right doors open for you--and then be ready to have an advocate who
is willing to work with and for you, stay in the process, and press for your rights and your best interests.

My name is Michael Ciocca, and I was curious to see if you are still updating the list
of links on your website. I have recently worked alongside a veteran to create a
financial guide for military members. The guide covers topics across a military
members career, from pre-deployment to returning to civilian life. It would be
great to have it included on your site where it would reach the people that it
was intended for. The guide is available here:

Outreach Coordinator for MaritimeInjuryGuide.Org    Given the skills and strong work ethic that many
military veterans possess, the maritime industry has recently started looking to Veterans to fill certain job
positions.  However, maritime jobs come with some potentialdangers.  We posted a blog article on our
site aimed at making Veterans aware of the dangers involved in maritime jobs.  The maritime industry
can provide some great opportunities for Veterans, but we want to make sure there are aware of the risks.
